"Evil Must Be Vanquished" Constantine has garnered an (oc)cult following who are craving for a sequel. The current DCEU is diving into strange and weird tonalities despite being in the same cinematic universe. And Keanu Reeves’ fame is on an upward trajectory. So, will there be a better time to show an older Constantine trying to fend off threats from other universes and the ones within our world, all while searching for an apprentice? I don’t think so. Additionally, Constantine had names like Tilda Swinton, Shia LaBeouf, Djimon Hounsou and Peter Stormare (FYI, he had a reunion with Reeves in John Wick 2). So, if the creators want to reprise their roles, Constantine 2 will probably end up being one of the biggest hits in box-office history. Keanu Reeves is getting the attention that he deserves. He has single-handedly toppled the biggest movie this year, Avengers: Endgame, and is sending the internet into a frenzy almost every other day. And he should be allowed to shower us with more movie magic, in the form of two other characters whose names begin with ‘John’ because it's obvious… I simply can’t get enough of Keanu.
