You think that this game looks like it's for children and such.... well... you have NO IDEA how wrong you are with that. Let me just say this... Level 0 is a prime example that can pretty much scar your childhood. I remembered when I first played this as a child, and THAT happened. I ended up shutting off the game because it scared me greatly, overtime I got over it and played through it, only to find how I had no idea what to do, where to go, and whatever... oh, and did I mention that this game is INSANELY DIFFICULT? Yes... this game and pretty much the other Ecco games are difficult, besides Defender of the Future, which isn't as hard as the 2D ones, but at least that one gives a reasonable challenge, and doesn't put you into enough rage to break the dang thing into bits. The final 2 levels is where I died the most times, and I was honestly THIS close to breaking my controller and never touching this game again, but alas... I got this far, and so, I must torture myself into beating this game, no matter if I die 5 million times while doing so. Welcome to the Machine is a VERY difficult level mainly due to that it's a auto-scroll level and if you get pushed off screen the screen turns red, and if it gets too red, you die. Also there are Vortex Guards that can kill you within half a second if given the chance, you know... they should name this level "Welcome to Hell". There are a few blind spots that you can't really tell which way to go, and taking the wrong way leads to a nice quick death. The Last Fight is the cheapest level if you came here for the first time, there's a Vortex Guard IMMEDIATELY at the start of the level RIGHT in front of you, which of course you'll smack right into it unless you hammer down the Sonar Button, otherwise you are put near death or it kills you, oh and no health regen in this level like the last 2. If you die on this level, you are sent back to Welcome to the Mach- I mean, Hell. There was no way I was going to repeat that nightmare again. Hopefully you enjoy this one, this game already drove me insane just by playing it, and no... nothing was broken. If there was... you would of seen some screenshots of it, honest.
