Fortnite in First Person
After seeing loads of fake videos on First Person, I decided to make a real one. I, Max Box, made a Fortnite video. BUT! There's a silver lining. I REALLY had fun making this. Frankly, it was such a breath of fresh air to be doing something that wasn't TF2 that actually involved a level of creativity.. felt real good. This was done with an extensive use of the (very buggy) replay system in-game, so while it's not "live" footage, it's certainly better than anything else out there so far that I've been able to find. After watching Ali-A's "first person" video where he clearly was just clickbaiting (big surprise), or a person standing totally still and firing weapons into the air, or a recreation of the game with poorly done overlays, or a complete mobile ripoff game.. I thought I'd try to show what Fortnite would actually look like in first person mode. There's no overlay or damage indicators, though if I make more of these in the future, I may try to incorporate them. As always, feedback is appreciated!
