I can't stress enough how important the women of Game of Thrones are to me! I know that there has been a lot of controversy surrounding the show especially some of the plot devices used (season 5 I'm looking at you), and while I will never excuse these issues I think it's important to recognize just how groundbreaking the series has been in giving us COMPLEX female characters. That said I really wanted the focus of this edit to be the pain each of them has been through followed by how they've overcome it.
