Loki's SCEPTER Explained!
A one-minute video overview about the Marvel Cinematic Universe version of Loki's Chitauri Scepter, its powers, abilities and characteristics as depicted in the MCU movies, and Avengers expanded universe. Gifted to Loki by Thanos, the Chitauri Septer was used as Loki’s primary weapon during the Chitauri invasion of New York City. Despite its effective use as a powerful melee weapon, the Mind Stone contained within the Scepter grants it with a plethora of formidable powers, including devastating energy projectile strikes and providing the user with the ability to communicate across the galaxy with the use of astral projection (like someone else we know). Among its more sinister capabilities is that of being able to focus the powers its contained infinity stone to manipulate the minds of others – entrancing them in hallucinating dream-state that makes them compliant to the wielder’s commands. When harnessed correctly, the scepter is capable of granting powers to others, as was the case with Wanda and Pietro Maximoff.
