SATC | The Domino Effect | Season 6 | Episode 11

In this clip: Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth. About this clip: Earlier in the episode, Carrie's tears "kickstart" empathy in her friends, concerning Big's heart failure. But when Carrie shares Big's convalescent solitude, we learn of the mortal fears underneath the veneer of his superpower clout, after all the cheerful banter over the"Red and White" board game. On waking up, Carrie, who's a fan of "Chaos Theory" and may not "understand the delicate balance of Physics", curiously "induces" that Big has finally recovered and informs us of his maddening metastability as his heart closes indefinitely. The high energy Big at the crack of the dawn is the otherwise imperceptible shift that stands for unpredictability. Later, in this final season, we can confirm that Carrie's "recursion" is proven true as Big's heroic complexity continues to keep us on our toes even till the end of the narrative! Additionally, this inter-generational scene beginning with a kinesthetic Carrie in the foreground against the inertial, languorous yet the very Absalom Big lug in the backdrop, intensifies the Alician/Dorothean conception of Carrie's character; this is evinced by the "O Toto!" exclamation in S01E10 and reconfirmed by its repetition in the 2011 movie version which cements her character as constantly evolving in a Bildungz.
