The star wars sequel trilogy today consists of three movies by JJ abrams and Rian Johnson! JJ Abrams started the trilogy off with star wars the force awakens...introducing characters Kylo Ren and Rey!. Looking at Rian Johnson with star wars the last jedi, he told a story of Rey and the return of luke skywalker, the film got a lot of backlash based on decisions made by rian johnson and kathleen kennedy. Now with star wars episode 9 by jj abrams set to film soon we will see how it all ends. However recently George Lucas went over his original plans for his sequel trilogy with james cameron. He went over the general idea for star wars episode 7, star wars episode 8 and star wars episode 9. He even briefly goes over the phantom menace. He goes over the Whills aspect pretty deeply.
