The 2017 Writers Guild Award for New Series goes to Atlanta
Chelsea talk show host/comedian Chelsea Handler hands the 2017 Writers Guild Award for New Series to the writers of Atlanta (Written by Donald Glover, Stephen Glover, Jamal Olori, Stefani Robinson, Paul Simms; FX). The Writers Guild Awards West Coast ceremony was hosted by actor-writer-comedian Patton Oswalt (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Veep) on February 19, 2017 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. The Writers Guild Awards honor outstanding writing in film, television, new media, videogames, news, radio, promotional, and graphic animation categories.
